I started this quilt over a year ago. The top has been sitting on the to-do shelf since November 2011, but I wanted to custom quilt it and needed a chunk of time to work on just it.
It measures 68" x 93" and used an "Easy Breezy" pattern from Quilt Country.
I love how the morning sunlight lets you see the quilting. I used patterns from several different designers. In this picture you see Holly border 2 and Wedge 1 Triangle by Kim Diamond (Sweet Dreams Studios).
The inner border is Owls on a Wire by Anne Bright. Doesn't the metallic thread look amazing on the green dimples?! If you have a moment and want to be amazed check out this video of Waldorf doing his work.
The center is quilted in Christmas Snowflakes by Anne Bright.
My favorite part is the back. It is a rich mottled red flannel - very cozy. The quilting is amazing back here. You can't see it that well in the picture...I guess I have to do some photo-shopping to get it to show better....but you get the idea.
It feels so good to have this last top off the shelf and on the couch.
