Ta-done! & Welcome

Wahoo!

About a week ago I showed you the parcel that was delivered to my door steps.  Remember this yummy fabric?
Kapalua Batiks from Moda

Last night I finished putting my quilt....
"Jiggity"

Which means I can now play with a second parcel of fabric.

"Marmalade" by Bonnie & Camille for Moda
I have to figure out how to make this quilt.

"Marmalade Circle"
My house is one long frat party at the moment.  My three teen age boys are all home for the summer and doing the things that teen age boys do...nothing...err eat, sleep, play loud video games, and watch "My Little Pony."  (Really, they just finished a marathon of watching it and tell me that it is hysterical and not meant for little girls.)  I am in desperate need of a girly girl fix.  Marmalade is just the ticket!  I feel better just looking at the pictures of it.  Sigh.

Whoop! Whoop! Whoop!
(That is one whoop from each boy)

If you have wandered over from the Bakeshop.  Welcome!  It is good to have you visit.  Feel free to look around and make yourself comfortable.  Heck, you can join the party with the boys.  Lemon-aide for everyone!.....but you have to make your own cozy.

Jiggidy is a really fun design and as a quilt it turned out wonderfully! And now Marmalade is so pretty and wow, cool design plan for that!

My Little Pony? Really? How strange!

Lovely finish on Jiggity; I agree, you need to get to Marmalade ASAP.

Enjoy having those boys home while you can. I usually have at least one home during the summer, but, they are both gone this year. I doubt either will be coming home for long again, since both will be in college now. It's TOO quiet here.
