Yesterday I received my prize from the Little Quilt - Sew, Vote, Swap swap on Flickr.
Bet you want to know what is in that package don't you!
Fresh out of the envelope....some yummy charms, a lovely note, and a granny square quilt...
Ironed...and made presentable. I love it!
Made by Deb Brown of Trio Stitch Studio

The back is just as pretty as the front.
Thank you Deb!
This is the quilt I sent. I made it from my scrap bin and used it as a learning tool for my 16 year old son. He wanted to learn how to use my long arm. He did a great job quilting it for me. I was hoping that he would consider helping me get through the pile of quilts I have waiting....Halo seems more appealing to him. (Surprise.)
I've been cleaning out lately...or trying too. I started a tiny quilt made from foundation pieced sailboats and lighthouses in 1995. It was for my 16 year old's nursery....It was decorated in lighthouses and red, white, and blue. I didn't know that he was going to be a boy...I hoped that he might be a she, in which case I was going to add some touches of lace. Never happened! Anyway, I finished the mini some time last year. When I was cleaning out I found one lone block, two hours work from being finished. Last night I turned it into a tiny pincushion. Doesn't it look cute with the kitty?!
Ta-ta-for-now. Hope your day is smooth sailing.
What a lovely package to receive, and your tiny sailboat pincushion is adorable!
